Product Information

Features: - UL listed to standard 864 - NFPA Styles 4, 6, and 7 applicable for signal line circuit - NFPA Styles Y and Z applicable for notification appliance circuit - Status LEDs for active/trouble and normal condition monitoring - 24VDC, 25VAC or 7OVAC supplied for connected device power - Electronic address setting - Down-sized unit - Easy installation Description: The addressable module wet output type provides the system with an ability to control notification appliances and solenoid device remotely via Signal Line Circuit (SLC). The addressable module equips with a central microprocessor with memory that controls the basic activities of the module. The module uses an electronic address setting method that eliminates any mechanical switch. The module is connected to the addressable SLC loop of Main Control Unit (MCU) and/or Sub Control Unit (SCU). The module provides the required operating power, supervision, and activation functions associated with notification appliances and solenoid device. The module uses external 24 VDC power for notification appliances and solenoid device power. The module also uses 25 or 70 VAC for audio (speaker) applications. The module supports NFPA Styles 4, 6, and 7 for the SLC. The module constantly monitors its output circuit for open and short circuit conditions, If open and short conditions are detected the module informs the trouble condition to MCU or SCU. If a short circuit condition has been detected on the output wiring the output circuit is not activated. The output circuit is turned on when the relay control command is received from MCU or SCU even in the event that an open circuit has been detected on the output wiring. The module supports both NFPA Styles Y and Z for Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC). The module also supervises the external power input for presence of 24 VDC power. Should the 24 VDC not be present the module informs the trouble condition to MCU or SCU. The module contains two status indicators (LEDs); one red and one green. The green LED indicates normal monitoring operation of the module when flashing. When the relay control command is received from MCU or SCU the relay latch is set, connected devices are engergized, the green LED is turned off, and the red LED begins flashing. The red LED flashing indicates that the module has been activating or the module has detected an internal trouble condition.
